A reduced gauge. A reduced environmental impact

Wrapsmartsubzero allows you to minimise the environmental impact of your pallet stretchwrapping activities. Its ability to provide the same levels of strength, protection and performance as a 14 micron (mμ) film but from a film gauge that’s just 7mμ means less packaging by weight is needed to wrap a pallet. This in turn creates less packaging waste once that pallet is unwrapped. What’s more, this reduced waste can even be reprocessed rather than sent to landfill as all of the films within the Wrapsmart range are 100% recyclable.

And the green benefits don’t end there. We have also complemented the downgauged nature of Wrapsmartsubzero with a reduced plastic core at its centre. This has a profile of just 2mm compared to the more commonplace 4mm. This feature, coupled with the fact that Wrapsmartsubzero comes packaged in recyclable stretchfilm instead of bulky cartons, further reduces your waste stream contribution.

On top of these waste saving capabilities, Wrapsmartsubzero helps to reduce the carbon footprint of your stretchwrapping operations. As its thinner, more film can be accommodated on a standard reel compared to a conventional handfilm. This extra film length per reel reduces the number of film deliveries required and attributable vehicle emissions.
